Current Music: Bright Eyes - When the president talks to God
12:26 am: a short post...for gabby...hah...
So yeah today was a good day. Been looking for cars, its coming OK, a lot slower than I hoped but the small number of options gives us time to look into everything so that's nice. It's looking like a 97 or 98 Subaru Outback Wagon...Subarus are nice, and that 98 is fully loaded, bells and whistles because its the 30th anniversary limited edition...except its black and I'd probably have to get it repainted...the other is a 97, red, a lot better price in comparission...i think... idont know its not as nice but for a first car, don't want to spoil myself or start jealousy in my friends..although I dunno, my friends are pretty cool...They'd probably just like riding in the nice leather seats more, but the whole eating and leather thing doesnt always mesh....

I need to get some sleep, I'm running errands in the morning, and meeting a friend in the afternoon...possibly 2 friends and I'm out of chocolate covered espresso beans (which i contribute to why today kicked so much ass) besides seeing good friends again and having a slow cooked smoked in a smokehouse brisket for i forget how many hours...SOooo good. And the people there were cool, I had good fun. Ate well, had fun. you know how it is....

Ok so..profound stuff later. Oh yeah Colorado was really cool (in more ways than one) and I'll detail that out maybe tomorrow night if I have time before I pack. Friday is the last day here, and we're going check out the nice subaru then...the 97 we'll do tomorrow (or today rather. I hate losing track of days because of an erratic schedule)

muchos props to "matty" for providing this somewhat quirky internet connection that has been working perfectly for 3 hours now...Yes indeed...ALright, to sleep I go. Later kiddos....

10:58 pm: I hate to cave in under pressure, but this is kinda fun
Name 5 of your favorite songs and then put it in your lj

1)Ben Folds Five - She don't use jelly
2)Bob Dylan - Don't think twice (it's allright)
3)Wilco - Spiders (kidsmoke)
4)Portishead - Numbed in Moscow
5)Iron and Wine - Jezebel

I could go on for days with this really..these are all subject to change..

Tag is for elementary kids...And yes I was tagged but screw it. I did it on my own accord :-P that's what I tell myself at night so I can sleep

I had this really profound thought in the airport and driving home and I've all but lost it. So maybe next time. Thanks to one of my dad's neighbors for this internet connection, as his DSL went down thursday night before I left, and tech support has to send out a technician soon...grrr....

alright folks. later. oh, since you've already figured it out, I'm back from colorado. more on that later...

09:53 am: Don't fear the reaper!
Last entry was a rant that was emotion based...I don't like looking at it, so I'm going to change the viewing privileges...or something...

So right now, I'm in Glenwood Springs, CO. From last friday to yesterday I was in Estes Park for the reunion. That lodge actually had wireless internet and I tried to make a post before I left yesterday but the computer got screwed up and I had to reboot :(

I found out that Iron and Wine are playing House of Blues. But I can't go. Because I was under the impression that I'd be returning THURSDAY, but they changed it up to be FRIDAY. And the concert is Thursday night. KLAKLFDKJF.

But we're looking for cars for me, so I guess that makes up for it, if I'm lucky friday we'll be driving back in MY car, and the acura will be sold :( You take some, you lose some. Damn that acura is fun to drive, I sure will miss it....

I hope all of your summers are well, from what I hear its nicely hot and humid down there. Up here?
66 degrees with 37% humidity!

In estes yesterday it was 52...w00t w00t!

Haven't gotten altitude sickness *knock on wood* but on the way up myself and padre both felt light headed/headachy, but the nurse said we were fine on the O2 levels...

"how can I? *audience screams*" - Wilco's Kingpin (live)

Don't know what I'm doing today. But you folks have a great one!

09:31 pm: .....
If every day was like today, then it'd be a summer to remember =D

But I accept the fact that some days won't be as eventful or fun.....

Late last night, I heard the screen door slam...

Ryan picked me up this morning, for some coffee with Jack and his sister. We then proceeded to the banks, his apartment, and then my abode. I played for a good half hour, documenting on digital recording. A lot of it is just me yelling at the top of my voice out of key, but eventually I'll use it for something useful...

After a lot of riff raff and things of that sort, I dropped off Sary's zen, and met the ninja AlLisAhN at CC's. We had cane's and I lost and found my keys and cellphone in matter of minutes...After the paranoia subsided we proceeded to watch xiu xiu and eat cane's at brooke/phillipe's house. The ninja most graciously offered me a cup of coffee which I must say was splendid...Curiousity finally got the better of me and in minutes my fingers strummed a very inexpensively bought taylor guitar...Covers resonated from the wood and larynx, then Brooke needed to be picked up. Ignite ignite! Off to captain planet smoothies, where covers again resonated. Then the acura took me home and here I am writing this whacked out entry.

Ladies and gentlemen (if you care to know) I finished my Junior year with a 3.0 GPA
All As, Bs, and Cs.
Damn right I'm lucky

I want to bring my recording gear with me to Colorado but I don't think I have enough room etc etc...Maybe I will...who knows....I know I'm bringing the laptop, so in the spare time I'll try to update and post pictures. I'll be thinking of all of you..=D

Have a wonderful evening.

03:00 pm: Oh man
I just read some of the first LJ entries...dude....that's some scary ish. Not much has really changed since then. I mean yeah a lot has changed. But at that time I didn't have a car, don't have one now because of my stupid actions, have a job but won't go in for training till the 13th, and wednesday or thursday of this week I'm leaving town. I think thursday. Gotta double check on that.

I don't want to read my LJ from the beginning, it was a wasteful time and I don't want it to become that again...but it's only the beginning of summer so I can't just broadcast the apocolyptic entries like this. Hahaha its only BEGUN!

Found some entries that are stupid. Like one just said Blah. Gotta remember to write everything, and eithier post it for public consumation or on private. That's been the biggest hurdle, knowing what not to post for the masses. There's so much I want to say but I get tired of you that complain about it...Seriously, it's not cool, it's my space, and you have no right to make judgements about me or leave negative criticism. Maybe it's just being sensitive, but whatever....

The room is spotless today, that just freaks me out.

mmm more later maybe...

10:52 am: whoooooo!
Last night was so much fun. Wow. I'm just gonna leave it at that, I sure saw things I had never seen before..Or never in real life...OK I'll share just one...

We were at Marley's, and the Def Lepard song Pour some sugar on me was playing, and these 2 chicks got up on the bar dancing/walking, pouring sour green apple shchapps in guy's mouthes. Whoa. Yeah it was cool.

Really good time, felt great then, felt great now...Need to get out more often....

ummm yeah that's it. more of you should turn 18 soon. it's a good time...

Have a wonderful day
